In this course, you will receive the skills to offer professional management services for working with landlords, property owners, and management companies. These professional skills and services can also be used to enhance your own property investments.

Major module discussions include: Management Planning and the Management Agreement, the Role of the Property Manager; Staffing of the Property Management firm; Landlord Policies and Operational Guidelines, Accounting and Financial Management for the Owner (including Reports, Insurance and Taxation matters); Managing Risk; Routine Maintenance, Construction, Safety and Environmental Concerns; Habitability Laws and the Fair Housing Act, Leasing, Negotiations, Tenant Relations and Tenant Retention.

This course does not have a required Final Exam.
